The Project was to upgrade the existing control system of the diesel fire water pump to Siemens S7-315 PLC module with SIL-1 rating for control logic and annunciator. All the existing cables had to be replaced by new cables as per the latest specification & standards of ZADCO. All equipment and connectors which were defective had to be identified and replaced. All construction drawings and documents had to be prepared and submitted for ZADCO approval.
The Control system with the panel was supplied by Metron Eledyne, UK & Metro Mac has carried out the complete scope of detail engineering, procurement and construction including the final documentation with contract from Golden Falcon Petroleum Services.
