What is Dimensional Calibration?
Dimensional calibrations involve measurement of the physical size of an object related to length, height, width, diameters and angles using measuring instrument standards as well as the distance from any given object. It is also used to check equipment that measures the geometrical properties of machined parts such as hole position, flatness, parallelism and part profiles.
Our dimensional equipment includes items like ring gauges, plug gauges, micrometers, inside micrometers, gauge blocks, protractors, Vernier calipers, digital indicators, length standards, levels, surface plates and other dimensional tools.
Height Gauge Calibration:
Height gauges finds use in many applications from machine shop floors to quality check labs it is widely used to measure the vertical distance from the base surface to that of a pointer. Metromac is an authorized agent and service center for TESA Brown and Sharp instruments. We use master standard equipment gauge blocks for height calibration. You are provided with accurate results and a height gauge calibration certificate that offer traceability to SI units through NIST.
